A Question That Wouldn't Go Away
Our founder visited diamond mining communities and came back with an uncomfortable question: why does the person who risks most to find a diamond benefit least from its sale? Purpose Driven Diamonds started as the answer to that question.
First Bespoke Commissions
We opened our first London studio with a small team of master goldsmiths and a radical promise: every stone fully traceable, every price fully explained. Our first customers found us because they were tired of being told to "just trust us."
Independent Verification
We built our sourcing standards around the principles championed by the world's leading ethics bodies — covering human rights, labour rights, environmental responsibility, and supply chain transparency. We do this because it is right, not because a certificate demands it.
Launching Our Lab-Grown Range
After two years of research and supply chain due diligence, we launched our Real Green Diamond range — lab-grown stones created on 100% renewable energy, independently verified at source, and priced honestly. Real diamonds. Lighter footprint. Full transparency.
